WHAT IS CONFIDENCE
Confidence is generally described as a state of being, a feeling or an attitude which allows individuals to have a positive yet realistic view of themselves, giving them the feeling of power that they are capable of doing or achieving something.
Self-confidence is a somewhat abstract concept, and may mean different things to different people. It is a fluid, changeable state of being. Some people will be able to trace their confidence and self-esteem issues to certain events or experiences while others will be unaware of how their self-confidence problems started. Counselling will include some exploration of the origins of the self-confidence issues you are experiencing.
